Cummins Unveils New Structural B6.7 Engine for Agricultural Applications
  • Allison Transmission Holdings and Cummins announced that their matching 2019 Allison Hybrid 40/50 (H 40/50 EP™) electric propulsion system has been certified by the California Air Resources Board ARB with Cummins B6.7 And L9 diesel-electric hybrid vehicles, both engines are used in buses and coaches.
  • We believe that the latest clean diesel power system provided by Cummins and Allison will help us Bus customers provide more reliable and environmentally friendly powertrains to help them achieve maximum success.
  • Cummins B6.7 and L9 diesel-electric hybrid engines use proven technologies that are designed and developed in-house, with a focus on providing the efficiency, durability and performance required by bus users in terms of their mobility.
  • The B6.7 diesel-electric hybrid engine is rated at 280 hp (209kW), while the L9 diesel-electric hybrid is rated at 330 hp (246kW) for the bus market.
